Part Time Executive Assistant

Location: Kettering

Salary: £24,500-£29,500 + bonus

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Business:

We're recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and well-established business based in Kettering. This is a business that genuinely values its people. They're ambitious, growing and commercially successful, but they've managed to maintain a supportive, down-to-earth culture where people work together and enjoy what they do. The leadership team is visible. The business is well run. And people are trusted to get on with their jobs. You'll be joining a company where relationships matter, teamwork is valued and where you'll quickly become a central part of how the business operates.

The Opportunity:

This isn't a traditional EA role supporting one individual. This is a role at the heart of the business. You'll provide executive support to the Managing Director and a wider Leadership Team of Directors, acting as the person who keeps everything organised, coordinated and running smoothly. You'll manage busy diaries, coordinate meetings, arrange UK and international travel, support company events and conferences, and become the trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders across the organisation. No two days will look the same. One minute you could be coordinating overseas travel and visas. The next you'll be preparing information for a board meeting or organising a major company event. If you're someone who loves being organised, enjoys working with senior people and gains satisfaction from making things happen behind the scenes, this is the kind of role you'll thrive in.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing executive support to the Managing Director and Leadership Team
  • Managing complex diaries and meeting schedules
  • Coordinating leadership, sales and company-wide meetings
  • Organising UK and international travel arrangements and visas
  • Managing expenses for senior leaders
  • Supporting customer hospitality events and business functions
  • Assisting with divisional conferences and leadership events
  • Preparing reports, presentations and information packs for senior management
  • Acting as a key point of contact across the business
  • Supporting office management and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, highly professional and enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and has experience providing executive support for multiple Leaders. The type of person who spots problems before they happen. The type of person who loves a well-managed diary. The type of person who gets genuine satisfaction from keeping everything running smoothly. You'll probably be someone who:

  • Has previous Executive Assistant or Senior PA experience
  • Is comfortable supporting multiple senior stakeholders
  • Can prioritise competing demands without becoming flustered
  • Has exceptional organisational skills
  • Communicates confidently with people at all levels
  • Takes ownership and uses initiative
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Enjoys building relationships across a business
  • Loves being the person others rely on

This role won't suit someone who likes to sit back and wait for instructions. We need someone proactive. Someone who thinks ahead. Someone who enjoys being one step in front of everyone else.

What's On Offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Pension scheme
  • Company benefits package
  • Free onsite parking
  • A varied and highly visible role
  • The opportunity to work closely with senior decision makers
  • A supportive and collaborative culture
  • Long-term stability with a successful and growing business
  • The chance to become a genuine business partner to the leadership team

Why This Role Is Different:

Lots of EA roles talk about working closely with leadership. This one actually does. You'll be involved in everything from strategic meetings and international travel to major events and company-wide initiatives. You'll see how the business operates. You'll work alongside senior leaders every day. And you'll play a key role in helping them perform at their best. For the right person, it's a fantastic opportunity to become one of the most important support functions within the organisation.
