A welcoming and ambitious school in Croydon is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Reception and Year 1 team from September, initially until July 2027.
This role requires someone with a genuine passion for working with young children and the energy to thrive in a busy classroom. The children are lively and, at times, may become emotionally dysregulated, so you must remain calm, patient and positive.

What You Need to Have:
Previous experience working with Reception, Year 1 or Early Years children is highly desirable

Provide classroom, small-group and 1:1 support across Reception and Year 1
Support children's learning, social development and emotional wellbeing
Help children develop positive routines and regulate their emotions
Work closely with teachers and the wider support team
