We're looking for Vehicle Technicians to join us at one of our many depots across Lancashire and Yorkshire. JOB DESCRIPTION:
You'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring our buses remain roadworthy, dependable and ready to keep communities moving.
What you'll be doing:
- As a key member of our engineering team, you'll help keep our fleet safe, reliable and ready for service by:
- Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults
- Carrying out routine servicing and 28-day inspections
- Completing vehicle repairs and maintenance work
- Supporting MOT preparation in line with DVSA Guide to Roadworthiness standards and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship at all times
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about keeping vehicles operating safely and efficiently.
You’ll ideally have:
- A Level 3 NVQ qualification (or equivalent City & Guilds qualifications)
- A full driving licence
- A flexible approach to working hours
- Experience working on buses or coaches (desirable but not essential)
- A PCV licence, or the willingness and ability to obtain one
