MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £44,000
Shift: 3 on 3 off Days & Nights
The Role An excellent opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well established manufacturer operating within a fast paced FMCG environment. This is a business that continues to invest in its people, equipment and processes, offering engineers a stable career with genuine opportunities for training and progression.
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production by carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and supporting continuous improvement projects across a variety of manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults.
Minimise downtime and ensure production targets are achieved.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work safely at all times.
Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding skills.
Engineering qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance within a fast paced production environment.
Desirable Skills Experience working within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
PLC fault finding experience.
A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
