We are looking for an Auto Electrician to join our busy depot located in Keighley. This is a highly rewarding, specialized career that offers the chance to work with complex diagnostics, keep local communities moving, and help drive the transition to sustainable, green transportation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and laptops to connect to the bus's Engine Control Unit (ECU) to pinpoint system errors.
- Repairing or replacing alternators, starter motors, battery banks, and faulty wiring in accordance with strict DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) safety regulations.
- Working with heavily integrated multiplex wiring networks that control a bus's doors, lighting, and engine components.
- Installing and maintaining passenger-facing technology such as security cameras, telematics, passenger counting sensors, and electronic ticketing machines.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Be responsible in repairing and maintaining the company vehicles to a DVSA or higher standard.
- Servicing and major unit changes.
- Be able to carry out preventative maintenance.
- Be able to carry out roadside and running repairs as necessary.
- Be NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 in PCV/HGV engineering.
