About the Role
Join Supply Technologies as a Kanban Coordinator and play a vital role in keeping customer production lines running efficiently. You'll manage Vendor Managed Inventory ( VMI) and Kanban systems on-site, ensuring critical components are available when needed while building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service. What you will be doing:
Manage part availability on site, ensuring on-time delivery and uninterrupted production by maintaining stock levels and preventing line stoppages.
Build strong customer relationships, meet customer requirements, resolve issues, and communicate changing demand forecasts to internal teams.
Conduct regular customer reviews and provide feedback to branch sales, purchasing, and operations teams.
Maintain Kanban systems, including record updates, label printing, and processing amendments in line with company procedures.
Monitor key performance metrics, including OTD, shortages, quality issues, and rejects, while promoting continuous improvement.
Ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of site equipment, Kanban racks, and bins.
Adhere to company and customer health, safety, housekeeping, security, and compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation and work closely with office, warehouse, and operational teams to support a smooth and efficient operation.
What We're Looking For:
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Experience in Kanban, VMI, inventory control, supply chain, logistics, or customer service, preferably within the fasteners, supply chain, or automotive industry.
Strong understanding of stock management and replenishment processes.
Ability to maintain product availability and prevent production line stoppages.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP system experience is desirable.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
