Are you an experienced Jira Developer with a strong understanding of Atlassian tools and a passion for building clean, efficient systems? We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our IT team and drive impactful change across Jira and Confluence environments.
About the Role
As a Jira Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing changes in Jira and Confluence applications. You will collaborate with various business teams, integrate Jira with other SaaS platforms, and ensure the solutions align with industry best practices and internal business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business teams to gather and refine requirements.
- Create clear technical documentation for solutions and reporting.
- Develop clean, efficient code and follow the full SDLC process for deployment.
- Design, test, and verify new functionality.
- Recommend and implement improvements in system configuration and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with analysts, project teams, and vendors to enhance tools and processes.
- Monitor and maintain system stability by addressing software defects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools (Advanced Roadmaps, Insight Asset Management, Ops Genie, etc.).
- Proficiency with Jira add-ons like Script Runner, eazyBI, Zephyr Scale, Power BI Connector, and others.
- Strong knowledge of Jira administration: workflows, permissions, custom fields, indexing, and integrations.
- Scripting experience using Python, Groovy, Java, and JQL.
- Solid understanding of ITSM and Agile methodologies.
- Experience creating and managing Scrum/Kanban boards, filters, dashboards, and reports.
- Skilled in Jira upgrades and Atlassian suite management (installation, migration, upgrades, patching).
- Experience with Jira API integrations.
