We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee PCB Assembly Operative to join our production team in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in electronics manufacturing, with training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in line with production schedules
- Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly guidelines
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and company specifications
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times
Day-to-Day Duties
- Performing basic PCB assembly tasks such as component placement and soldering
- Using hand tools and basic assembly equipment
- Inspecting components and finished boards for defects or quality issues
- Packing and labelling completed products
- Reporting any faults, issues, or shortages to the supervisor
- Supporting senior technicians with more complex assembly tasks as you develop
