Our client is looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing facility where youll play a key role in maintaining and improving plant reliability, performance, and efficiency. This role operates on a continental shift pattern (days and nights, including alternate weekends).

Completed electrical apprenticeship with an HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering Strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment Confident fault-finding and diagnostic skills on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to breakdown situations Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude Experience working with continuous improvement and root cause analysis is highly desirable Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate maintenance records
Day-to-day, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Youll be heavily involved in fault-finding on electrical systems, supporting root cause analysis, and working closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and improve plant performance.
You may also contribute to improvement projects, support equipment upgrades, and help drive long-term reliability improvements across site assets.
This role offers excellent opportunities for development within a highly technical engineering environment, with potential progression into senior or specialist engineering positions.
