As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving company growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities and building strong, long-term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a business development and sales plan to achieve company objectives.
  • Carrying out outbound sales calls and telemarketing activity to generate new opportunities.
  • Managing client sales appointments and following up on new business opportunities.
  • Visiting clients to understand their requirements and develop tailored solutions and proposals.
  • Preparing quotations and proposals and securing new sales orders.
  • Supporting customer trials and ensuring opportunities are progressed through to completion.
  • Identifying and targeting new markets and potential customers to expand the client base.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Preparing and presenting accurate sales reports, forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
