We're supporting a well-established Ipswich-based business working with global clients. Their work sits across claims/recoveries, reporting and risk insight, and they're investing heavily in new technology and data-led solutions, so it's a great time to join.
This Account Manager role supports the Senior Account Managers and acts as a key link between clients and internal operational/software teams. It's a fast-paced role with lots of moving parts, so strong organisation and attention to detail are essential.
What you'll be doing as Account Manager:
- Supporting the Account Managers to look after a portfolio of clients and keep relationships running smoothly
- Helping onboard new clients and making sure everything is set up properly from day one
- Co-ordinating day-to-day client requests, queries and updates, and making sure actions are followed through
- Producing regular client reports and supporting meetings (pulling together figures, updates and insights)
- Keeping client information, processes and systems up to date and accurate
- Acting as the link between clients and internal teams to ensure work is delivered on time and to expectation
- Supporting invoicing/admin tasks and helping keep things organised and compliant
What we're looking for from the Account Manager:
- Previous experience in a Client Relationship lead role
- Naturally organised and able to manage a busy workload without missing the detail
- Strong attention to detail and pride in getting things right
- Confident building relationships with clients - friendly, professional and credible
- Clear communicator (email, phone and video calls)
- Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
- Happy working to processes, and improving them where needed
- Comfortable with systems, reporting and Excel (an interest in dashboards/tech is a bonus)
- A team player who can also work well independently
