Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join their expanding team based in Inverness. Working as part of the Financial Planning Support Team, you will provide high quality and accurate administrative support to Financial Planners including core financial administration, case management and compliance.
Duties include:
- Open, track, and process applications for investment products.
- Monitor applications and liaise with providers.
- Request policy details.
- Keep client records fully updated with precise data and policy history.
- Compile client meeting packs for advisers, ensuring all current policy information and forms are included.
- Administer the invoicing of fees, commissions, and update financial logs.
- Handle daily incoming post, manage team email inboxes, answer telephone queries, and greet clients.
- Assist with the compilation of detailed valuation reports, portfolio analysis and summaries for high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
- Review client files against strict FCA and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations before submission to compliance.
- Carry out audits to identify and improve back-office efficiency.
- Support and mentor the wider administrative team, supervising junior administration staff.
Person Specification:
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 3-5 years of financial administration experience within an IFA or wealth management firm (preferred).
- Strong understanding of financial products, regulations and compliance.
- Excellent IT skills including CRM systems.
Qualifications Desirable: CII Certificate in Financial Services (e.g., R01, CF1, or FA2).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable dealing with high-net-worth individuals and a range of internal and external contacts.
