This full-time role offers a 37.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday , with flexible working opportunities available.

Your Time at Work
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the contractual relationships between our client and its third-party technical service and infrastructure providers at the Killingholme Vehicle Distribution Centre (VDC).
You will work closely with suppliers and stakeholders to drive performance, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and service delivery, with a particular focus on lead times and operational excellence.
As a Technical Contract Manager, your role will encompass
Nature and scope of main accountabilities
- Manage the contractual relationship with our 3rd party technical service & infrastructure providers, within the Killingholme VDC area and to maximise their performance with particular regard to lead times and quality of output.
- Steer the business relationship and interaction of independent 3rd party suppliers to deliver a seamless service provision to our clients and customers at all levels.
The contract values are in excess of £23,000,000.
- Manage the relationship with the technical services providers, ensuring that the services are delivered within strict contractual guidelines and performance is reported on a regular basis through the KPI process.
- Make business decisions based on a sound commercial knowledge and continually review and adapt to ensure that the company's objectives and customer expectations are fulfilled.
- Ensure that the department complies to all relevant legislation and environmental requirements in all the activities it undertakes.
Particular attention drawn to health and safety and quality assurance.
- Develop and motivate the audit team through effective management and performance reviews, ensuring that team members are competent, efficient whilst delivering a quality performance.
- Comply and operate in accordance with an operating system that is aligned to BSI standards for process and sustainability obligations and be committed to a policy of continuous improvement.
- Management of effective prioritisation of workflows through all VDCs & despatch areas taking into account all routine predictable activity and any unforeseen but possibly urgent technical campaign / recall work.
- Purpose and subject of interaction with internal / external interfaces:
- Act as an ambassador of the VDC in all relationships with external customers, suppliers, and public bodies.
- Be principal relationship manager for the Park Lane service provision.
- Maintain a functional relationship with all retailers signed up to the PDI service to ensure that the service delivery is within agreed expectations and promote further expansion of this activity.
- Steer the business of accessory line fitment within VDC, co-ordinating with Aftersales Development to select and execute the correct opportunities for the retailer network and maximise profit opportunity.
- Provide appropriate feedback to factories and AQ department.
