We are looking to recruit a Freight Forwarding Assistant for a client of ours, based in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire on a Full-time Permanent basis.

We are a well-established and fast-growing logistics provider, delivering global freight solutions across air, sea, and road. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Assistant to join our operations team.
The Role
As a Freight Forwarding Assistant, you will support the day-to-day coordination of international shipments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in freight forwarding and logistics, working closely with experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in arranging and processing shipments via air, sea, and road
- Support with preparing shipping documentation (e.g. invoices, packing lists, AWB, B/L)
- Update internal systems and track shipment progress
- Liaise with customers, carriers, and overseas agents
- Assist with customs clearance processes where required
- Handle customer queries and provide status updates
- Ensure all files are completed accurately and in line with company procedures
About You
- Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or Sales.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
