The Role
As Depot Manager , you'll take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the Immingham depot, balancing commercial performance, operational excellence, customer satisfaction and, above all, safety.
You'll be responsible for:
Developing the depot business to achieve sales and profit targets
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service
Maintaining full compliance with quality, health and safety procedures
Overseeing vehicle maintenance, inspections and certification
Implementing company policies and procedures effectively
Leading, developing and supporting depot employees
Managing recruitment, training, performance reviews and appraisals
Providing strong leadership and dealing confidently with HR matters
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance and profitability
Ensuring the depot delivers against its operational and commercial objectives
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a confident and capable manager with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of leading teams within a business environment.
Ideally, you'll have:
