Are you a recent graduate and not sure what to do next? Or are you someone with a passion for making a positive impact in others' lives? We are looking for a care assistant to support our client with personal care and daily living. Our client is a recent university graduate based at her family home in Ilkley.
Our client needs full-time comprehensive support to help meet her needs, including assisting her with mobility, personal care and general support. You will support our client at home on a live-in basis in Headingley, and will be required to provide daily support at her home in Ilkley over the holidays.
As well as being a book-lover, our client loves to get out and about, including going to restaurants, gigs and the cinema to name a few! Living with cerebral palsy means that she has difficulties accessing certain things compared to the average person. Transportation is a challenge, and she may need assistance getting around. Additionally, putting on some items of clothing in the morning can be a struggle. That's why she relies on a PA to help with these tasks and ensure comfort and independence.
Beyond the practical aspects of the role, it would be truly wonderful if you share her interests in reading and music. You could spend time discussing literature, recommending books to each other, or simply enjoying music together.
