We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Account Manager to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in internal sales, account management, estimating, or customer service within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Reporting to the Lead Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, producing quotations, processing orders, and building long-term customer relationships. This is a fast-paced role where organisation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate quotations and process customer sales orders
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to support quotations
  • Follow up quotations and record customer feedback
  • Manage customer expectations and provide regular updates
  • Monitor and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Achieve a minimum target of 8 quotations per day
  • Maintain quote response times of less than 4 hours
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and company standards
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety and 5S requirements
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in Internal Sales, Account Management, Estimating, Sales Support or Customer Service
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to read and interpret technical or engineering drawings (desirable)
  • Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, fabrication or industrial sectors (preferred)
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Team player with a flexible attitude
