Night Shift Press Brake Machinist (4 Positions Available)

Location: Derby

Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)

Shift Pattern: Monday-Thursday (4 on / 3 off) 6:00pm - 6:00am (12-hour shifts)

Future shift pattern may move to 4 on / 4 off

About the Role

We are currently recruiting 4 Night Shift Press Brake Machinists to join a busy, modern manufacturing environment operating 24/7. Following a recent £2 million investment in three brand-new machines, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and forward-thinking production team. This is a hands-on role where you'll primarily operate press brake machinery, with opportunities to be multi-skilled across lasers and punch press machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating and setting press brake machines
  • Supporting operation of lasers and punch press machinery where required
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
  • Working with metal components ranging from 1mm to 6mm thickness
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity
  • Supporting a flexible, multi-skilled production environment
  • Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • Previous manufacturing experience (ideally in a similar environment)
  • Experience operating press brake machinery (preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
  • Experience operating multiple machines (desirable, not essential)
  • Willingness to learn and be trained across different equipment
