Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
- Experience working on automated production machinery and industrial equipment.
- Ability to diagnose faults quickly and effectively to minimise production downtime.
Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
- Level 3 Electrical qualification.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team.
- Strong understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
- Experience working with PLCs, ideally being able to fault-find using inputs and outputs.
- Experience working with automated production machinery.
- Experience with sensors, motors, drives, conveyors and control systems.
- Experience with continuous improvement and reducing machinery downtime.
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
