We're looking for a Premises Officer to join our Lewisham PFI Schools team based in Lewisham.
Hours: 40 hours per week We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
The Premises Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the school environment is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
You'll be working closely with the Premises Manager and school staff to support the smooth running of the premises, carrying out essential maintenance tasks, and helping to create a positive space for students and staff alike.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Premises Officer, you'll be working within the Premises team, supporting them in maintaining and safeguarding the school premises.
Your day to day will include: Conducting regular quality checks of the premises to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality Carrying out minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky taps, patching walls, and repairing door hardware Responding promptly to maintenance issues and liaising with external contractors for larger repairs Supporting school staff with porterage tasks including moving furniture, mounting displays, and delivering parcels Maintaining site security by opening and locking gates, patrolling the premises, and ensuring safety doors are secured What are we looking for?
