Horizon Teachers are working with a welcoming primary school in Redbridge who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Assistant on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis.
Working alongside the Site Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring the school premises remain safe, secure and well maintained.
The school is looking for someone reliable, practical and proactive, ideally with previous school site or caretaking experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school premises.
Carry out basic maintenance, minor repairs and general caretaking duties.
Assist with opening and closing the school site where required.
Support with setting up rooms and spaces for school activities and events.
Identify and report maintenance, health and safety or security concerns.
Requirements
Previous school site, caretaking or facilities experience.
Good practical maintenance skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a school site team.
