An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing plastics manufacturing business. As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to machinery breakdowns, and supporting the ongoing performance and efficiency of a wide range of production equipment. You will work on both electrical and mechanical systems while playing an active role in continuous improvement projects.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:
  • Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) - HNC/NVQ/Desire preferred.
  • Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Experience working with manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience within the plastics manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with PLC fault finding using inputs and outputs.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extrusion, injection moulding, or associated plastics processing equipment.
