The role of the Project Manager / Site Manager Flat Roofing involves promoting a high quality range of flat roofing services including cold applied liquid, built up felt, hot melt, green roofs, solar, and single ply.
- Managing all aspects of the project from tender to completion.
- Writing up health and safety documents for each individual site.
- Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks.
- Liaising with quantity surveyors and commercial managers to ensure all works are moving smoothly, that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining the project cost plan.
- Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project.
- Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients.
- Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
- Overseeing a single contract at any given moment.
- Predominantly working on commercial projects such as local authorities, NHS, and schools.
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager / Site Manager Flat Roofing with:
- A proven track record in Site or Project management in the flat roofing market sector.
- Experience in both new build (single ply & hot melt) and refurbishment flat roofing systems.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels.
- A full UK driving license.
- The ability to work well as a team and fit the culture.
- A CSCS card & SMSTS.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
- Confidence and articulation.
- The ability to plan and organise deliverables.
- High self-confidence.
