Academics is working with amazing SEN schools in Huddersfield seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Officer to join their supportive team.

About the Role As the Inclusion Officer , you will play a central role in promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and equal opportunities across the school.

You'll work closely with staff, students, and families to remove barriers to learning, ensuring that every young person can achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities of an

Inclusion

Officers: Support students with a range of special educational needs, including social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Develop and implement individual support and inclusion plans.

Build positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals.

Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies throughout the school.

Monitor student progress, attendance, and engagement, providing regular updates to senior leaders.

Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams to create an inclusive learning culture.
