We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Content Assistant to join our Digital Content team at the University of Huddersfield. Reporting to the Web Content Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of digital content projects across our web platforms to enhance the Universitys marketing and recruitment efforts.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience for this role, youll work to support other teams within the Department as well as other stakeholders across the University to advise on web content optimisations that align with web best practices, accessibility guidelines and University branding, and supporting with educating others on these digital content best practices.
Youll be a digital content enthusiast with an understanding of content management and improving web performance. Key responsibilities will include reviewing and updating content in the CMS (Terminal Four) and adapting this content to fit content architecture and templates, supporting with SEO and site health improvements, and producing data reports on web content performance to make suggested improvements.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
This is a fixed-term appointment for 12 months, however, as the post is linked to a maternity absence, the end date is subject to change.
