Stafflex are proudly working with an established and growing Precision Engineering business looking to add some skilled CNC Machinists (Operators / Setters / Programmers) to their workshop team due to continued expansion and increasing customer demand.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Engineer to join a company that specialises in complex, low-volume machining projects, across a range of highly regulated and technically demanding industries. Rather than repetitive production work, you'll be involved in challenging components, prototype development and engineering problem-solving.
Responsibilities may include:
- Operating CNC Machinery
- Editing and proving out programs
- Programming and setting machinery
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Identifying and resolving machining challenges
- Supporting continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
- Maintaining quality and safety standards within the workshop
Key requirements:
- Experience working with CNC Machines (Fanuc/Hurco)
- A desire to tackle technically engaging work
- Proactive and positive approach
- Learn from mistakes and continually develop skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Experience in programming and milling / turning machinery is highly advantageous and would be reflected in the salary
