Morson Edge is delighted to be supporting our client in the search for a temporary HR Administrator based in Portland, Dorset.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment administration, including offer documentation, contracts and pre-employment checks.

Manage end-to-end onboarding, including HR inductions, system access, benefits and coordination with payroll, IT and line managers.

Maintain accurate electronic personnel records and HR system data.

Act as a first point of contact for employees on routine HR queries.

Coordinate leaver and offboarding processes, including exit interviews and liaison with relevant departments.

Prepare employment documentation covering changes such as promotions, salary changes, job descriptions, probation outcomes and termination.

Maintain accurate records of employee changes, absence, holidays and other employment information.

Support payroll by ensuring starters, leavers, absences, changes of terms and additional payments are accurately reported.

Complete right-to-work and driving eligibility checks and maintain appropriate records.

Administer HR systems and HRIS platforms, producing regular reports for management.

Manage the HR inbox and provide timely responses to employee and manager queries.

Support employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives.

Assist with training administration, internal communications and HR projects.

Prepare and maintain relevant HR documentation, including personal risk assessments.

Support the HR leadership team with reporting, annual review processes and other HR activities.

Ensure HR records and processes are maintained in line with company policies, legal requirements and applicable quality, environmental and health and safety standards.

Undertake other reasonable HR administration and operational duties as required.

About You Previous experience in HR administration, HR operations or a similar role.

Good knowledge of core HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, compliance and training.

Experience using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office; experience with systems such as Sage or similar would be advantageous.

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

A systematic approach to workload management, with the ability to plan ahead and use initiative.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.

A flexible approach and willingness to support changing business requirements.
