Responsibilities:
- Deliver the science curriculum across KS3 and KS4
- Teach GCSE Chemistry as part of combined and/or separate sciences
- Teach core chemistry concepts clearly
- Prepare students for exams using past papers
- Potentially teach A-level Chemistry where appropriate
Requirements:
- Degree: A degree in Chemistry or a related science field (NQT or PGCE SECONDARY)
- Experience: Teaching or tutoring GCSE and A-Level Chemistry
- Skills: Strong communication and patience with students
- Experience teaching secondary science in a UK school will be ideal but not needed
- The right to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Two satisfactory professional references
