Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager to support continued business growth.

Remit:

This role will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Technician with supervisory experience who is looking to progress further into a Shift Manager position. Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable prior experience of condition setting and optimisation of injection moulding machines and troubleshooting capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced moulding professional to join a forward-thinking company going through a sustained period of business growth.

Role:

In the role of Mould Technician / Shift Manager you will be responsible for the management of the Mould Shop and Packing Team, ensuring all team members work in a safe manner to execute their duties following agreed processes and instructions. As Shift Manager you will use defined documentation, set up production works orders across all moulding machines to adhere to the production schedule with a focus on quality, efficiency and a right first time approach. Hands on approach performing tool changes and setting mould tools across all machines in a safe and controlled manner. Monitoring the quality of production, reporting any quality concerns at the earliest opportunity. Completion of quality and shift hand over documents as required. To assign work in priority order to Mould Shop Setters & all Operatives on site, including the workflow through the Packing Team and the control of materials through the Support Staff. Taking the lead to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members.
