We're looking for a Property Management Assistant to support the day to day running of residential leasehold developments, working closely with our Property Managers to keep sites well maintained, compliant and running smoothly for residents.

You'll be the first point of contact for many residents and contractors, so this is a role for someone who is organised, personable and comfortable juggling admin, enquiries and problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Based in Horsham, this is a permanent, full-time role offering genuine variety, hands on training and a clear path to progress within a growing national business.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities, from resident queries and maintenance requests through to lease documentation and statutory notices. You'll need confidence dealing with residents, contractors and colleagues alike, and the judgement to know when to resolve something yourself and when to escalate it. You'll be expected to keep accurate records, support budgeting and reporting, and help ensure every development in your care meets lease, health and safety, and company standards.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

You'll be successful in this role if:

  • Resident and contractor enquiries are handled promptly and professionally
  • Maintenance requests are coordinated and resolved without unnecessary delay
  • Records, leases, invoices and statutory notices are accurate and up to date
  • Developments you support run compliantly and to a high standard

HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME

Most weeks, you'll be:

  • Assisting with the daily management of residential developments
  • Coordinating maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolution
  • Responding to enquiries and maintaining positive resident relations
  • Preparing lease agreements, invoices and statutory notices
  • Maintaining accurate records of payments, communications and documents
  • Conducting property inspections and reporting findings
  • Assisting with budgets, financial reports and reconciliations
  • Coordinating with contractors and suppliers for maintenance and repairs
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and correspondence

You'll work from our Horsham office, Monday to Friday, as part of a supportive team with clear processes and hands on guidance.

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

This role suits someone who:

  • Has experience in property management, real estate or administrative support
  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, in writing and in person
  • Handles resident queries with patience, empathy and professionalism
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
  • Enjoys problem-solving and can make sound decisions under pressure
  • Works well as part of a team and with external partners

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative systems
  • A flexible approach to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to confidentiality, ethics and service excellence

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Ongoing training and professional development, with genuine career progression
  • Your Birthday off
  • 25 days annual leave per annum with paid bank holidays
