Why join us?
- At Milton Keynes Vets for Pets, people come first - both our clients and our incredible team of 45+ colleagues.
- We have created an inclusive, welcoming environment where emotional wellbeing is just as important as delivering exceptional pet care.
- We regularly celebrate individual and team achievements with awards, rewards, and plenty of fun social events throughout the year.
- We are all about helping you grow from regular practice and clinical meetings to encouraging you to pursue your specific areas of interest.
Our people are a priority, and this is reflected in our inclusive and welcoming team (11 vets and 18 RVNs/VCA & SVNs), where the focus is as much on our own emotional wellbeing, as in putting pets first. Our progressive attitude keeps us fresh and current; for example, we are proud to be one of only a handful of practices in the UK to be awarded the Green Investors in the Environment award.
We have had a brand-new refresh in the last 6 months with our new space including large, dedicated dog and cat wards, a state-of-the-art dentistry suite, and a specialized diagnostic imaging room. Most excitingly, we have a cutting-edge CT and control room featuring the brand-new IMVi GE Revolution ACT system. This expansion marks a significant step forward, and we're thrilled to share this journey with our team and clients. It's truly a fantastic time to join us and we encourage our nursing team to get fully involved in all our scanning!
Oh, and in case you're wondering, we already have some fantastic tools to help you deliver amazing care: K-laser, HT Vista, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, syringe driver, flexible and rigid endoscopy, laparoscopy, nerve stimulator, Logic R8 ultrasound, and more. Our spacious setup includes six consult rooms, two theatres, prep rooms, and a dedicated colleague room.
To support the significant amount of enhanced clinical work, surgery and orthopaedics we do in-house, we have invested in a dedicated hydrotherapy space to support our patients' recovery and rehab.

We'll support you every step of the way and we actively encourage our RVNs to take on Schedule 3 responsibilities such as dental work, X-rays, and lab, as well as providing a generous CPD allowance for your personal development. If there is a certain area of nursing you have a particular passion for, we are more than happy to see how we can support you with this too!
