Stafflex are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are a well established textiles manufacturer and are looking for a night shift worker to join their finishing team.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has some experience in textiles and is OK with heavy lifting / manual handling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cutting rolls of fabrics to size
- Lifting the rolls of fabric
- Operating large industrial machines
- Meet production targets by following job cards
Job Requirements:
- Comfortable with doing a physical role that involves heavy lifting
- Good with numbers as you will need to accurately measure fabric lengths
- Ideally drive due to the shift times when on nights
- Some textiles experience / background knowledge or other transferable skills.
Hours:
- Training: 6am - 2pm for the first couple of weeks
- After Training (nights): 4:30pm - 02:30am + night shift allowance
- Monday - Thursday
