The Class 2 HGV Driver Role
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you'll play a key role in delivering LPG safely and efficiently to domestic, agricultural and commercial customers across the region. No two days are the same, with routes covering everything from rural locations to busy industrial sites.
You'll be responsible for:
- Completing multi-drop LPG deliveries safely and efficiently
- Delivering exceptional customer service at every stop
- Operating in line with ADR and Carriage of Dangerous Goods (CDG) regulations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate delivery records
- Working safely in a variety of environments and weather conditions
- Representing the business professionally while building strong customer relationships
Essential Skills & Experience
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
- Valid ADR certificate (minimum Class 2 - Tanks and/or Packaged Goods)
- Good understanding of tachograph regulations and drivers' hours legislation
- Safety-focused with a professional attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexible to support peak periods, including occasional weekends or extended hours where required
