Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Night Out Allowance: £25 per night out
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Tramping)
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join a professional and well-established transport operation based in Highbridge, Bristol, and Shepton Mallet. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work, competitive hourly pay, and a £25 night out allowance. You'll be driving a modern fleet, working on planned long-distance routes across the UK, and joining a supportive team that values safety, professionalism, and high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities
Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle on planned long-distance routes across the UK
Carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
Working as a tramper driver, staying away from home for 4 or more nights per week
Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety
Securing and checking loads correctly before and during transport
Completing relevant paperwork and daily records
Following all Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations
Keeping the assigned vehicle clean and reporting any defects promptly
Requirements
Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card
No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
Good time management and route planning skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
