Senior Engineer RC Frame & Groundworks Location: High Wycombe
Rate to £380 a day A leading RC Frame and Groundworks contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join the team on a prestigious £8 million RC Frame and Groundworks project in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established specialist contractor known for delivering complex reinforced concrete and groundworks projects to the highest standards. You'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the scheme, working closely with the Project Manager and Site Team to ensure quality, programme, and safety objectives are achieved. Key Responsibilities Managing and overseeing engineering activities on site.
Setting out for RC frame and groundworks packages.
Coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Producing and reviewing QA documentation and as-built records.
Liaising with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers where required.
Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on RC Frame and Groundworks projects.
Strong setting out and surveying skills.
Excellent knowledge of reinforced concrete construction and groundworks.
Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
CSCS card (essential).
SMSTS qualification desirable.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
