The
Role: Safely manoeuvre and position trailers within the yard, loading bays, and parking areas.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or damage promptly.
Liaise with warehouse, transport, and gatehouse teams to ensure efficient trailer movements.
Ensure trailers are correctly coupled, uncoupled, and secured.
Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and allocations.
Comply with all site health & safety rules, PPE requirements, and traffic management plans.
Support operational flow by prioritising trailer moves as directed by the transport or yard supervisor.
Operate shunter units or tractor units in a safe, professional manner at all times.
