About the Role

George Killoughery Ltd is a well-established Construction Services company delivering Aggregates, Logistics, Waste Management, and Infrastructure solutions across London and the South East. We work with many of the UK’s leading construction contractors and have built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join a busy, well-established logistics and aggregates operation based in Purfleet or Mitcham. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of construction materials, aggregates, and muck-away across London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating an 8-wheel HGV Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and legally.
  • Transporting loose materials (sand, gravel, soil, asphalt) between sites.
  • Carrying out thorough daily walk-around vehicle checks and defect reporting.
  • Adhering strictly to tachograph regulations and driver's hours legislation.
  • Communicating effectively with transport planners and site managers.

Requirements

  • HGV Class 2 (Category C) license
  • CPC qualification
  • Minimum 12 months HGV experience
  • Knowledge of London & South East roads

Desirable:

  • CSCS card
  • HIAB / Grab experience
  • SUD CPC
  • Experience with tippers, skips, roll on roll off, sweeper, grab and class 1 artic vehicles (however full training will be provided)
