Shift Patterns: Across Sunday to Friday (full time and part time options available)

Start times windows:

  • Midnight - 3am
  • 12pm - 4pm
  • 4pm - 8pm
  • 8pm - Midnight

Pay Rates:

  • Weeks 1-2 (Including Rolled Up Holiday Pay)
    • Day Shift: £19.88
    • Night Shift: £20.16
    • Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): £20.16
  • Weeks 13+ (Including Rolled Up Holiday Pay)
    • Day Shift: £20.16
    • Night Shift: £20.73
    • 6th Day: £30.28
    • 6th Night: £31.13
    • Bank Holiday Day: £40.38
    • Bank Holiday Night: £41.52

Average shift length: 10-12 hours (guaranteed 8 hours)

Key Responsibilities

  • Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels containing high-value goods.
  • Collecting high-value goods from well-known customers, including full trailer collections, drop and swap operations.
  • Occasional handling of push roller cages as required.
  • Precise reversing and manoeuvring in yards, including shunting duties when needed.
  • Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and company safety standards.
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement.
  • Ability for flexibility of start times from the above windows (drivers to choose which window they would prefer).
  • Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Maximum of 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Successful completion of assessment (theory & practical).
  • Understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
