We are partnering with a very established client, in their search for a new Supply Chain Planner to join their growing team.
You'll be responsible for planning production, managing inventory, forecasting demand, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient manufacturing and kitting operations.
You'll be instrumental in maintaining optimal stock levels, improving processes, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities Plan short and long-term production schedules to meet customer demand.
Manage inventory levels to ensure continuous manufacturing and minimise stock shortages.
Forecast inventory requirements and monitor stock movements.
Coordinate manufacturing schedules across multiple departments and sites.
Work closely with suppliers to manage lead times and maintain strong relationships.
Analyse productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Produce production and traceability documentation.
Monitor stock expiry dates and minimise obsolete inventory.
Report on productivity, inventory performance and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.
About You An organised planner with excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Enjoy solving problems, communicating with different teams, and finding ways to improve processes.
Experience in supply chain, production planning or inventory management.
Knowledge of inventory management software or ERP systems.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
A proactive, positive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Progress with a recognised professional qualification would be advantageous.
