An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plant Service Manager to join a leading national plant hire company. You'll manage a busy workshop, overseeing the servicing, maintenance and repair of a large fleet of construction plant while leading a team of around 25 engineers and workshop staff.

The Role

Manage the day-to-day running of a busy workshop.
Lead and develop a team of approximately 25 engineers and service staff.
Ensure servicing, inspections, PDI's and repairs are completed to a high standard.
Maximise fleet availability through effective workshop planning.
Maintain high Health & Safety and compliance standards.
Monitor workshop performance, costs and engineer productivity.
Work closely with the Workshop Supervisor to prioritise workloads and improve efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Plant Service Manager, Workshop Manager or similar.
Strong background in plant hire, construction equipment or heavy plant.
Experience managing engineering teams.
NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering or equivalent.
Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.

Package

£60,000 - £65,000 basic salary.
Company electric vehicle.
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm.
Company pension.
Ongoing training and career progression.
