Orion Building Engineering Services Ltd is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful and ambitious building engineering company with an excellent reputation developed over more than 20 years. You will work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team, servicing a varied portfolio of commercial properties including schools, offices and residential developments.

We are looking for a commercially qualified engineer who takes pride in their work, delivers excellent customer service and wants to develop their career within a growing business.

The role:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Commercial boiler servicing and repairs
  • Fault-finding and diagnosis
  • Installation, testing and commissioning
  • Completion of electronic service and compliance records
  • Participation in an on-call rota, approximately one week in ten

What we need:

  • Current Commercial Gas ACS qualifications COCN1 or CODNCO1 and relevant commercial appliance qualifications
  • Experience with commercial boilers and associated plant
  • Good knowledge of current gas regulations
  • Strong fault-finding and customer service skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience or qualifications in air source heat pumps, renewable heating, domestic gas, controls or BMS systems would also be beneficial.
