Are you a Weapons Engineer, Technician or similar with a Navy / Submariner background, looking to progress off the tools into an Instructor or Trainer role, with one of the UK's biggest defence contractors, who are responsible for training the next wave of technicians in a military environment?
On offer is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a multi-billion-pound global engineering and defence company, who have an industry reputation for providing one of the top training and progression programmes and often work on several large-scale projects around the UK. This is a unique opportunity where you will be funded for qualifications to improve your career and progress into senior management.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on weapons training both in the simulator and the classroom to military trainees, deliver pre-set lesson plans, training and assessments, monitor trainee development and collaborate with colleagues to improve internal processes and uphold health and safety. This is a Monday to Friday role, 37 hour week - half day on a Friday.
This role would suit a Weapons Engineer or Technician from a Navy or Submariner background, looking for an off the tools role, full training to become an instructor and the opportunity to work for one of the biggest defence companies in the UK.
