Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing specialist contractor delivering major wastewater infrastructure and drainage rehabilitation projects across the South of England. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you'll take ownership of projects from mobilisation through to completion, working closely with clients, operational teams and commercial colleagues to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
The Role
- As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple drainage rehabilitation and infrastructure projects, including:
- Managing projects from planning through to completion
- Coordinating labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and operational resources
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Building strong relationships with clients, framework partners and key stakeholders
- Monitoring project performance, programmes, budgets and commercial outcomes
- Managing project risks, variations and reporting
- Leading and supporting site teams, supervisors and subcontractors
- Driving continuous improvement across project delivery and operational performance
About You
We're looking for a commercially aware project professional with strong leadership skills and experience delivering operational projects. You'll ideally have:
- Experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or similar
- A background within drainage, utilities, civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or trenchless technology
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes and operational resources
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities
- A good understanding of Health & Safety and quality management
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience delivering CIPP or drainage rehabilitation projects
- SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor, APM, PRINCE2 or similar project management qualifications
