Key Responsibilities: Act as the Tax SME, overseeing periodic reviews and continuous improvement of tax processes across the Group. Lead the review and refinement of BAU tax policies and procedures. Provide strategic oversight across all direct and indirect tax matters . Manage and guide a team of Tax Managers and Senior Managers . Coordinate cross-functional tax initiatives, ensuring compliance and best practice across the organisation. Requirements: Proven experience at Head of Tax level within the Financial Services sector . Strong technical knowledge across UK tax (direct and indirect). Hands-on leadership approach with excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to assess and improve operational tax processes in a regulated environment. Willingness to travel to the West Midlands 2+ days per week .
