St Andrew's Care Home Hawick £13.00 per hour | Flexible Bank Shifts St Andrew's Care Home in Hawick is looking for a motivated and reliable Bank Chef to join our team on a flexible, as-needed basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals and wants the flexibility of bank work while making a real difference to the lives of our residents.

The Role As our Bank Chef, you will: Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals for our residents.

Cater for a variety of dietary requirements, allergies, and special diets.

Ensure high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.

Monitor food stock and assist with ordering and stock rotation.

Work closely with the care team to provide an enjoyable dining experience for residents.

Follow all Food Safety, HACCP, and Health & Safety regulations.

About You We're looking for someone who: Has previous experience as a chef or cook.

Holds a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above is desirable).

Is passionate about providing quality meals.

Can work independently and as part of a team.

Is reliable, flexible, and organised.

Has a caring and positive attitude.
