This is a hands-on position focused on resolving day-to-day production issues, maintaining manufacturing documentation and ensuring production teams have the equipment and processes needed to work effectively.

Info about what the Production Engineer role entails
Investigate and resolve day-to-day production issues.
Provide hands-on engineering support across manufacturing.
Maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation.
Support engineering changes, production trials and validation activities.
Assemble or modify workstations, fixtures and production equipment.
Update technical files and manufacturing information.
Work closely with Production, Process Engineering and Quality teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement and manufacturing projects.

Essential Requirements of a Production Engineer:
A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering role.
Experience working within a product manufacturing environment.
A practical approach and confidence using basic hand tools.
Experience maintaining SOPs, work instructions or production documentation.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good computer literacy.

Desirable Requirements of a Production Engineer
Electronics, electromechanical assembly or PCB manufacturing experience.
Experience within a fast-paced or high-volume manufacturing environment.
Engineering change, production trial or validation experience.
Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement knowledge.
Experience modifying production workstations, fixtures or equipment.
