We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Yard Assistant / Forklift Driver to join a growing independent builders merchant. You will be responsible for handling materials, goods and equipment.
Salary: Up to £31,100 DOE
Ongoing training
Forklift Yard Operative Duties will include:
- Operating forklifts
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Organizing and storing materials
- Maintaining inventory records
- Performing routine maintenance tasks
First point of contact for customers arriving at the branch. Be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing materials for damage or defects and ensuring that they are handled safely and efficiently. You will play a critical role in ensuring that materials and equipment are moved and stored properly, this is essential for the smooth operation of the business.
