Youll take the lead in maintaining high standards across the service, developing a capable team and ensuring every resident receives safe, compassionate and personalised care.
What youll be doing As Home Manager, youll have overall responsibility for the homes operational and clinical performance. Youll provide strong day-to-day leadership, promote a positive culture and ensure the service continues to deliver excellent outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting the nursing, care and wider home team
Maintaining compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical governance requirements
Ensuring care plans are person-centred, regularly reviewed and effectively delivered
Managing staffing, recruitment, rotas and employee development
Monitoring budgets, occupancy and resources to support sustainable home performance
Building productive relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners and healthcare professionals
Identifying opportunities to strengthen quality, resident experience and team engagement

Youll need:
An activeNMC PIN (desired)
Previous Home Manager or senior management experience in a nursing home, elderly care or similar setting
Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team
Commercial awareness and confidence managing staffing and operational budgets
A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care
