We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester or Vehicle Tester to join a busy automotive workshop in Hatfield. Applicants must hold a current MOT Tester Licence, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. No main dealer experience is required; we are looking for an experienced MOT Tester who can confidently carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards.
Location: Hatfield
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
MOT Tester Role:
- Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations
- Complete vehicle inspections accurately and efficiently
- Identify and report defects found during MOT testing
- Complete all MOT documentation and testing records accurately
- Ensure vehicles are tested to required safety and compliance standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised MOT testing area
MOT Tester Requirements:
- Current MOT Tester Licence
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester or Vehicle Tester
- Good knowledge of current DVSA MOT testing regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
