MTrecs new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector; they are looking to recruit a Multi skilled Maintenance Electrician on a permanent basis.

The job youll do Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on a range of extrusion, automation, plant and facilities equipment.

Diagnose and fault-find on electrical systems, including PLCs, control panels, drives, and motors Mechanical maintenance tasks including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating equipment.

Minimise downtime and ensure plant efficiency.

Assist in continuous improvement and reliability projects.

Installation and commissioning of new capital equipment on-site.

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company H&S procedures.

Maintain accurate maintenance records via MMS.

About You Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (essential).

Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skills.

Extensive experience within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.

Knowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens desirable). 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferred.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

Flexible approach to shift work (12-hour shifts including nights).

Strong team player with a proactive attitude.

Desire to progress within the organisation.
